This lil dude was the talk of the (birding) town for a couple days as he skulked around in Central Park. Kentucky Warblers are usually shy and stay hidden but this one didn’t mind the paparazzi. 🤩

I’ve seen some incredible portraits of him from other photographers, especially as he kept popping out into the open for people. He wasn’t as cooperative when we got eyes on him, but I often opt for habitat shots anyway. I really love how he looks like a shiny yellow dinosaur in a world of big plants, especially in the second photo.
